There are great resources on tt.net to help you through the process but the real question is how much experience you have in mechanical work. What kind of maintenance have you done before? Have you done any major jobs such as a clutch job, for example? An engine pull and install is a big job especially on a Z with all the quirks this car has. If this is the first time for you ever pulling and installing an engine, a Z might not be the best car to learn on, but if you are very mechanically inclined then, and have read the write ups and think you can handle it then go ahead and do it. Just do lot of research on tt.net to find all the little things to look for while replacing the engine, theres tons of info that will help you through the process.
